Featured Employee – Chris K.

Chris Keesler is the Director of Operations in Western Washington and has been with SWS for almost 7 years. He oversees the day to day operation of our Service and Parts departments and also works on trucks at the Western Washington shop in Tacoma. Chris grew up in a logging and fishing family in Hoquiam, Washington. When he was little he always dreamed of working on large truck engines. When Chris turned 18, he moved to Olympia and to this day, still calls it home. Chris enjoys riding his Harley, boating, fishing, crabbing, shrimping and spending time with his family and friends. A few interesting facts about Chris are; he is a cancer survivor, he was raised by his grandma and two aunts, and he is super close to his kids and spends most of his after-work hours with his 4 year old grandson, Jace.

Chris has been in the refuse, street sweeping and sewer equipment industry for over 17 years and has received multiple certifications including; Caterpillar, Cummins, Detroit rebuild certification, Master ASE Certification for medium, heavy trucks and a Hydraulic Diagnostic/ Rebuild Certification. His passion for working on large trucks is evident in the many hours of work he puts in at the Tacoma shop. Chris is a key component in the success and growth of the Western Washington location and SWS is truly grateful to have such a dedicated person on the team.
