The Service Manager serves as a leader to keep our customers informed and help our customers accordingly, as well as supervises the shop. This work may happen directly on location or in the shop. It is important this person has the ability to learn and retain product-specific information as it pertains to the position.

Example of Duties:
  • Assess and analyze individual projects and departmental budgets to find ways to optimize margins.
  • Collaborates across divisions to develop or enhance standard Service practices.
  • Collaborates and maintains departmental procedures in conjunction with SWS Equipment Business Management Processes.
  • Collaborates on enhancements to Service operations to support continued growth within our core business.
  • Collaborates with the Management team to set department goals and initiatives to drive improvements in key operational metrics.
  • Communicate with senior leadership about shifting company priorities and projects.

Heavy Equipment Technician
Location: Wilsonville OR

Heavy Equipment Mechanics are the action heroes of our Company. They lead the way supporting our customers by providing expert service so their equipment is back online as quickly as possible. They put our customers first. They are required to remain current on all equipment we sell and service and adhere to all industry safety protocols.

Example of Duties:
  • Diagnose and repair customer‐owned equipment
  • Promote and schedule service requests
  • Promote and fill Parts orders as needed
  • Prepare new equipment for final delivery to customers
  • Participate in long‐term planning to create initiatives that further the company’s overall goals
  • Coordinate with different teams, exchange ideas, and participate in cross‐team learning opportunities

Field Service technician
Field Service & Install Technician

Location: Spokane, WA

The Field Service and Install Technician serves our customers directly on location or in the shop.  They work with our internal Service Dispatchers and Coordinators to give the customers the best experience possible.  It is important this person have the ability to learn and retain product specific information as it pertains to the position.

Example of Duties:
  • Hydraulic troubleshooting, installation, and repair.
  • Install and repair industrial type equipment.
  • PLC and electrical control systems troubleshooting, installation and repair.
  • Read & understand hydraulic and electrical schematics
  • Single and Three phase AC electrical power troubleshooting and repair.
  • Welding repair.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite:  Excel, Word & Outlook is a plus
  • Ability to read and understand hydraulic and electrical schematics.
  • Computer literate (text, uploading and / or downloading documents or pictures)
  • CDL Class B license is a plus
  • DC electrical experience is a plus
  • Maintenance experience
  • Supply own hand tools (wrenches, screwdrivers, hammers, etc.)
  • Willing to get forklift-certified
